John Ashley Godwin

Mr. John Ashley Godwin, 65 of Erwin, passed away at Betsy Johnson on Thursday, September 3, 2020. Mr. Godwin's funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at West and Dunn Funeral Home Chapel in Erwin, NC beginning at 11:00 am. Rev. Tim Cowen Sr. will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at Erwin Memorial Park.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at West and Dunn Funeral Home of Erwin. 

Mr. Godwin is survived by his wife, Jennifer Godwin, sons, Brian Ashley Godwin and wife Elizabeth of VA, Daniel Shane Godwin and wife Candace of Lillington, grandchildren, Ethan, Abigail, and Samantha, brothers, Paul Godwin and wife Lynne of Erwin, Staffon Godwin of Erwin, sisters, Anne Ennis and husband Phil of Dunn, Wanda Langdon and husband Doug of Benson and Tina Johnson and husband Jay of Erwin.

Mr. Godwin is preceded in death by his parents, John Otis and Shirley Ann Godwin.
