John Alton Warren Jr., 69, of Newton Grove, peacefully passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023.
John, born on April 11, 1954 in Sampson County, was the son of the late John Alton and Jessie Britt Warren.
He is survived by his daughter: Susan Peppers and husband William of Jacksonville, Florida; three grandchildren; Tyler, Cassidy, and Cohen and one great-granddaughter Maci Gray; sisters: Emily and husband Dee Freeman of Raleigh, N.C. and Julia Warren of Newton Grove; nephew: Jason and Regan Reynolds of St. George, Utah.
John was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, David Reynolds.
A graveside service will be held at the Hillcrest Cemetery on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Officiating the service will be Rev. Debora Stilley.
