Joe Mitchell Rhodes

Mr. Joe Mitchell Rhodes, age 87 of Devil's Racetrack Road, Four Oaks, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at his residence with his loving family by his side. His funeral service will be held Sunday, April 10th in the Chapel of West & Dunn Funeral Home, Newton Grove at 3 p.m. The family will receive family and friends at the funeral home 1 hour prior to the funeral service. Rev. Billy Nowell will officiated the service. Mr. Rhodes will be laid to rest in the Beasley Family Cemetery, Bentonville. 

Left to cherish his memories are his wife: Nellie Rhodes of the home, daughter: Julie Adams of Kenly, sons: Jeffrey Rhodes of New Bern and Jervis Rhodes of Four Oaks. Also, left to cherish his memories are several grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, son: Joe Junior Rhodes, brother: Harold Rhodes and granddaughter: Daisy Kay Rhodes. 

The Rhodes family wishes to thank everyone for all the calls, visits, food, prayers and especially Community Home Care & Hospice, Clayton, N.C.  for the excellent care shown to them during this time of sadness.
