Jimmy Charles Wilkins, Jr., 61, of Angier, passed away peacefully at his residence on February 16, 2026.
Born in Wake County to the late Jimmy Charles Wilkins, Sr. and Linda Faye Howell Wilkins, Jimmy lived a life full of laughter, hard work, and love for those around him.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Dunn Funeral Home.
Jimmy was truly a jack of all trades and especially known as a master of vinyl siding. One of his favorite pastimes was aggravating his beloved wife, Glenda — all in good fun — and keeping those around him laughing. A self-proclaimed ladies’ man with a natural sense of humor, Jimmy never met a stranger and could brighten any room with his quick wit.
He enjoyed fishing, grilling out with family and friends, and listening to music — his number one go-to pastime. Jimmy also had a deep love for Harley-Davidson motorcycles and working on cars, especially his Chevy, which brought him great pride and satisfaction.
Jimmy is survived and deeply loved by his wife, Glenda Wilkins; his sisters, Sandra Howard and Amanda Howell; his brother, William James Wilkins; and three cherished grandchildren. He was also devoted to his fur babies, Blaze and Maggie Mae.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to your favorite charity in Jimmy’s memory.
