Jesse Tee (JT) Stewart Sr.

Jesse Tee Stewart, Sr. of Benson NC, passed away at Wake-Med Hospital on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, with his loving family by his side. A service of remembrance will be held at the West & Dunn Funeral of Benson on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at 2:00 pm.

Jesse is survived by his wife of 43 years Elizabeth Stewart of Benson, daughter; Tina M. Boone (John) of Coats, son; Jesse T. Stewart Jr. of Benson, Siblings; James F. Stewart (Frankie) and (Anette) of Meadow, Pamela Jackson (Donnie) of Garner, Penny L. Cullen (Scott) of Angier, William Stewart (Pennie) of Moncure, Haywood B. Stewart (Bart) and (Rachel) of Benson, grandchildren; Jordan Boone (Jessica), Dillon Boone (Carol Ann) and Blake Boone, Four great-grandchildren, He was loved by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by his mother; Lena M. Stewart and father; Haywood F. Stewart.

He worked as a carpenter for many years and helped many people. He was loved by all.
