Helen Ann Hudson, age 71, of Erwin, NC went to be with her heavenly Father and rejoice in heaven on Sunday, September, 22, 2024. She was born February 8, 1953 in Harnett County, NC.
Helen is survived by her grandchildren; Jacob Fipps, Joshua Fipps and wife Robyn Fipps, Kelsey Lee and husband Jay Callaway; Her daughter, Sonya Lee; Her siblings, Beverly (the cream of the Oreo cookie) and husband Bill Johnson, Brenda and husband Billy Cook, Gary Hudson, Wayne Hudson (Cookie); great grandchildren Brantley, Avery, Maddie Fipps, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Helen was preceded in death by her son, Michael Todd, her daughter, Lesley Wiley, her parents, LaRue Herring & Charles Hudson, and her brother Danny Hudson.
Helen was one of a kind to say the least. Anyone that knew her, knew she was a “firecracker” in this earthly world, but she loved deeply and immensely. Helen had many loving titles in life, but her favorite of all was being Nana to her grandbabies. She was a devoted nana, always ready with a listening ear and a plate of French fries, hot dogs, and sausage for her grandbabies. Helen lived life in the moment and loved spending time with her family more than anything. She always fell for all of Kelsey and Jake’s silly jokes and believed all of Josh’s outrageous hunting stories. She selflessly did things for everyone around her and always made sure everyone was taken care of without question; right Josh?
Now, Helen’s got the best seat in heaven with everyone she missed dearly all while watching over all the ones she loves here on earth with a Dr. Pepper in one hand and a pack of baileys in the other.
