Benson, NC: Mr. Gerald Lavon Young , age 77, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Funeral Services will be held 2:00PM Saturday, September 26,2020 at Trinity Lakeshore Pentecostal Holiness Church in Dunn. Burial will follow in the Erwin Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Chris Brown and Rev. Ed Norris will officiate.
Surviving include his wife, Phyllis Young of Benson; daughter, Angela Parrish and husband Renzie III of Benson; son, Daren Young of Benson; grandchildren, Kyle Parrish, Kely Parrish, Kaitlyn Young, sister, Carol Dale.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John W. and Ima Young, brother, John F. Young.
Pall Bearers; Kyle Parrish, Roy Lee Massengill, Ryan Blackmon, H. W. Tyler, Phil Moore, Danny Clifton.
