Ethel Wood Ivey

Ethel Wood Ivey, age 89, passed away with her loving family by her side Wednesday. December 8, 2021, at her daughter's home. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at West & Dunn Funeral Home of Benson at 2:00 pm. Rev. James David Tart will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Devotional Gardens Cemetery of Dunn. 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.

Survivors of Ms. Ivey include her daughter; Willa Dean Oakes and husband Bryan of King, NC, sons; Gardner Wayne Ivey and wife Sheri of Charlotte, Dewey Lewis Ivey of Dunn, Five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, 

Ms. Ivey is preceded in death by parents; Arthur and Vada Wood, husband; Gardner Wilton Ivey, brothers; Owen Wood, Bernard Wood, and Glenn Wood, sisters; Louise McLamb, Elaine Ivey,
