Edna (Blake) Neighbors

Edna Neighbors, 81 of Linden, passed away on August 28, 2022, at her residence. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at the home of Edna Neighbors from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A private service for the family to follow at a later date. 

Edna is preceded in death by her parents, Netti Blake and Cortez Blake of Erwin, sister, Linda Blake of Erwin, and brother, Cortez Blake Jr.

Edna is survived by her sister, Paula Horne and husband Edward Horne of Clinton, children, Vernon E. Jackson and wife Deborah Jackson of Rockingham, Edith J. Pierce of Erwin, Kimberly J. Matthews and husband Jimmy Matthews of Linden, grandchildren, Chasity Locklear of Erwin, Christy Ennis and husband Jason Ennis of Dunn, Jammie Pierce-Long and husband Mike Long of Hope Mills, Tracy Byrd and wife Emily Byrd of Lillington, Kimberly N. Gardner and husband Steven Gardner of Fuquay, Christopher Jackson and wife Brittany Jackson of Shelby, NC., Jonathan Kelly of Rockingham, Stacy Kelly of Rockingham, 21 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
