Doris W. Thornton

Doris Thornton, age 80 of Newport News, Va. went home to be with her Lord, Sunday, July 10, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Her graveside service will be held Saturday, July 16th at 3 p.m. in the Tyler Family Cemetery, Clinton, NC.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter; Becky Bass and husband David, son; Walt Thornton, four grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Joseph (Joe) Thornton.
