Donald Ray Raynor, Jr

Donald Ray Raynor, Jr., 64, of Benson, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 16, 2026 at Transitions LifeCare of Raleigh.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday, January 20th at Dunn Funeral Home in Benson.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Barbour Raynor; father, Donald "Boo" Raynor; sister, Kathy Raynor Holmes, and a granddaughter, Melodee Rain Allen.

Donald was retired from B D Medical Supplies in Four Oaks, NC.  He loved fishing, metal detecting and hunting arrow heads.  One could often find him on the Outer Banks fishing.

He is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Elizabeth Marchelle Raynor; a daughter, Traci Bare and husband, Jaime; a son, Ronnie Allen and wife, Heather; and three grandchildren; also, two  sisters, Treasa Barefoot and husband, Gary and Rhonda Raynor, and many neices and nephews.
