Donald Ray Lee

Donald Ray Lee, 74, of Four Oaks passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Johnston UNC Health in Clayton, NC. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 11:00 am at Hills of the Neuse Memory Gardens, Smithfield, NC. Officiating the service will be Rev. Wayne Dunn. Survivors of Mr. Lee include his wife, Jo Ann B. Lee of Four Oaks; sons, Brian Keith Lee of Fuquay; Brandon Ray Lee and wife Krystal of Smithfield; grandchildren, Carson, Jackson, Hampton and Clara May Lee, brother, Steve and Lisa Lee of Princeton; Carlton Lee of Four Oaks; several nieces and nephews. 

Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his parents; Ira B. Lee and Lommie Allen Lee, sister; Peggy Lee, brother; Jerry Lee.

Donald was born and raised on a farm in Johnston County. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp. from 1968-1971. His family was his life and he was a beloved husband, father and papa. He was a dedicated and a loyal member of Lee's Union Advent Christian Church in Four Oaks. He was a determined and hardworking man who never gave up, even to the end. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

Mr. Lee will be available for viewing and you will be able to sign the register book from 2:00PM-4:30PM on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at West & Dunn Funeral Home in Benson, NC. The family will not be present during this time.

Flowers are welcome but memorials may be made to Lee's Union Advent Christian Church attention Jo Ann B. Lee.
