Dewendolyn "Dee" (Bradley) Haskins

Dewendolyn Mae (Dee) Haskins passed away peacefully with family by her side on October 27th.  She was born on May 11, 1940, to Thomas Junior and Virginia Bradley.  She was married to the love of her life, Carlton (Shorty) Haskins for 57 years before he passed away in 2011.  She was a loving mother to Kee Haskins and wife Lisa, Butch Haskins and wife Tobie, Scott Haskins and wife Martha, and Tracy Haskins and wife Johnna.  She adored her grandchildren, Paul Haskins, Jason Haskins, Jennifer Haskins, Karlin Talerico and husband Joe, Jake Haskins and wife Ashton, Taylor Haskins, Mollie Moore and husband Cody, and Katie Butler and husband Jesse.  She was so proud of her great-grandchildren, Cole, Beau, Everleigh, Brinleigh, Charlotte, and Jay.  She was loved by her brothers and sisters, Tony Bradley, Glenn Bradley, and wife Linda, Belva Lucas and husband Don, the late Betty Lou Bryant and husband Willis, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Dee spent the majority of her career working for Campbell University, Good Hope Hospital, and Coats Chamber of Commerce, but her most enjoyable job was working at Dollywood where she met her favorite singer, Dolly Parton.  In retirement, Dee and Shorty traveled the U.S. in their RV.

A graveside service to honor Dee will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 31st at Devotional Gardens in Dunn, NC.
