Dannie B Norris, Jr.

Dannie B. Norris, Jr, 53, of Benson, passed away unexpectedly on May 31, 2024.
 
Dannie was a metal worker at General Metals. He enjoyed his work at General Metals, and the team he worked with, who became a close network of friends that he thought a lot of.

Dannie Jr. was an avid fisherman, who enjoyed pier fishing as much as anyone. He would stay on the pier all day and night, regardless if the fish were biting! He was a kind man who would give you the shirt off of his back and was always willing to lend a hand. He was the type of person who, if he needed to, would give you the last dime he had if he knew it would help you. He was a friend to many and never knew a stranger.

He is survived and deeply loved by his parents, Dannie B. Norris and Deborah Benson Norris of Four Oaks; sister, Tisha Beasley and husband Brian of McGee's Crossroads; brother, Nick Norris and wife Candice of Four Oaks; nieces and nephews, Caroline Norris, Naomi Beasley, Noah Beasley, and Jackson Norris; and his faithful furry companion, Happy.

He is also loved by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024 at West & Dunn Funeral Home of Benson from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at Burnell Baptist Church of Four Oaks at 11:00 AM. He will be laid to rest at Sanders Family Cemetery on Gum Swamp Road, Four Oaks.
