With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Crystal Gayle Coleman, age 47 of Erwin, on Saturday, May 12, 2025 at Central Harnett Hospitial in Lillington.
Crystal was a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, who left this world far too soon. Crystal passed away surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of strength, laughter, and fierce devotion to those she held dear.
Crystal is survived by her loving children: Braxton Barbour and his fiancée Ashley Martin, Drew and Clarissa Hall, and Camden Coleman and his fiancée Elektria Lee. She was a proud grandmother to Kash Hall, Bentley Barbour, and Carter Coleman. Her late son, Dylan Barbour, preceded her in death and is now reunited with his mother in eternal peace.
Crystal’s memory lives on through her mother and stepfather, Martha Coleman and Charles McLeod. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Coleman. She also leaves behind her siblings, James and Lauren Coleman, and Tracy and Wayne Autry. Crystal is now joined in heaven by her brother, Joseph Coleman.
She was a cherished aunt to Tanner Autry, Dylan Coleman, Wyatt Coleman, and Jaxon Coleman. Her extended family includes her beloved aunt and uncle Steve and Teresa Smith, as well as Justin and Miranda Adams, and Jonathan and Kimberly Bennett, alongside countless other family members and friends who were touched by her presence.
Crystal’s joy for life was contagious. She had a wonderful laugh and a smile that could light up any room. Her spirited personality and unmatched stubbornness made her unforgettable.
Her cherished companions, her dog babies Macie and Bella, were never far from her side and brought her immense comfort and joy.
Crystal Coleman was a vibrant soul whose love, resilience, and laughter will echo in the hearts of those who knew her. She is deeply loved and will be missed more than words can express.
A service to celebrate Crystal’s life will be announced by the family at a later date.
