Carolyn Faye (Temple) Lee

Mrs. Carolyn Temple Lee, 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, December 23,2022 in the SECU Hospice House, Smithfield. 

Mrs. Lee's funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 28th at Hood's Grove Baptist Church beginning at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. till 2:00p.m. Officiating will be Dwight Braswell and Rev. Frank Sandy. She will be laid to rest in the Lee Family Cemetery, Benson, N.C. 

Mrs. Lee was born January 9, 1943 in Johnston County to the late Ward Haskel and Pearl Register Temple. She was also preceded in death by her husband Sherrill Lee, sister Bobby Allen, brothers Edison Temple, Carl Temple Sr., and Jerry Temple. She is survived by her son Deleon Lee and wife Nancy of Princeton, daughter Crystal Lee and husband Phillip of Meadow, grandchildren Amber, Tristan, Sheryl "Nikki" and Dylan, along with several nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.
