Bruce Franklin Warren, Sr.

Bruce Franklin Warren, Sr., age 85 of Newton Grove passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, N.C. with his loving family by his side. His funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 17th at Oak Grove FWB Church, Newton Grove beginning at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will be held from 1:30 till 3:00 p.m. prior to his funeral service in the fellowship hall and other times at the home, 1292 Warren Mill Road, Newton Grove. Officiating will be Rev. Corky Herring. He will be laid to rest in the Warren - Oak Grove Cemetery, Newton Grove. 

Bruce was a farmer who loved his family and friends. He was married to the love of his life, Patsy Warren, for 66 years. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, children: Lydia Jackson and husband Robert, Janet Baggett and husband Dave, Bruce Franklin Warren, Jr. and wife Kim, Ashley Warren and wife Sallie. Ten Grandchildren, nineteen great Grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Sisters: Ida Rae Eldridge, Shirley Tart, LaRue Smith and husband Wayne. Brother: Larry Warren. 

He was preceded in death by his daughter: Terri Denning, parents: Ira Mangram and Arie Lewis Warren, sisters: Hilda Warren, Dorothy Holbrook, Willa Booth, brothers: Alvin Warren, I.G. Warren, Harper Warren and Bobby Warren.  

Flowers are welcome; however, memorials may be made to Oak Grove FWB Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 389, Newton Grove, N.C. 28366.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to his granddaughter, Lindsay Barefoot and to Dr. Kevin Talton with Mt. Olive Medical Center for all their love, compassion and care during his illness.
