Brendan Jamison Futrell

With deepest sorrow and broken hearts, we announce that Brendan Jamison Futrell, 24, of Clayton, NC, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023. 

He is survived by his parents, James and Sabrina Futrell of Clayton; his brother, Gary Futrell of Clayton; his grandparents, Hubert and Gerda Futrell of Garner and Hilda Haire of Garner; Uncles Jimmy Haire (Diana) of Lillington and Jason Haire of Cameron; Aunts Gabriele Secrest of Raleigh, Doris Futrell of Garner, Angela Horton of Garner, and Lori Haire-Hague (Jo) of Morrisville; and many cousins, extended family members, and friends. 

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, James Haire, and his Uncle, Gary Futrell.

Brendan loved BMX bike racing and visiting the Outer Banks beaches.  He was an entrepreneur with a successful retail business.  He was always thoughtful, giving, and helpful to everyone.  Brendan was loved by everyone.  He will be missed and will never be forgotten.  He will be in our hearts forever.

A Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM at West & Dunn Funeral Home of Benson. His Memorial service to follow at 2:00 PM.
