Betty Grey (Avery) Blackman

Betty Grey Blackman, 77 of Dunn, passed on December 13, 2022. She was born in Dunn in July 1945. She is the daughter of the late William Henley Avery and Katie Langdon Avery. 

Betty is preceded in death by her first husband, Sherill Edward Williford, second husband Harold Lloyd Ryals, and third husband Earl Blackman. Brothers, Bobby Avery and James Avery; Sisters Syvonne Williams, Leola Barefoot, Janice Avery, and Eunice Doris.

Mrs. Betty is survived by:

Sons: Sherwood Allen Williford and wife June Ann Williford; and Benny Edward Williford

Grandchildren: Leslie Williford, Shelby Lynn Williford, Lloyd Edward Williford, Katelyn Michelle Williford, Alina Gozalkowski, Lucas Gozalkowski, and Landon Craig Ireland.

Sister: Brenda Turlington and husband Larry; Kay Autry and husband Jerry

Brother: Ray Avery 

Numerous Nieces and Nephews also love her.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at West and Dunn Funeral Home Chapel of Erwin. Interment to follow at the Ryals Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at West and Dunn Funeral Home from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
