Benjamin Bailey Hudson, Jr.

Benjamin Bailey Hudson Jr., peacefully passed away Tuesday morning, November 1, 2022, at Central Harnett Hospital of Lillington after a year of failing health. Ben, 86, was the eldest son of the late Benjamin B. Hudson, Sr., and Sarah Z. Hudson, born in Erwin. Surviving Ben is his brother, William, and spouse Pamela Hudson of Chester, VA. Ben attended Staunton Military Academy and the University of North Carolina. Ben served in the US Armed Forces for two tours of duty. Ben was employed by Burlington Industries and Swift Textiles for 30+ years and was an active member of Erwin United Methodist Church. Ben loved sports, especially UNC Basketball.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022, beginning at 11:00 am at Benson City Cemetery of Benson, NC. Pastor Namkoog will be officiating.
