Obituary
Barbara Horne Gholson, 74, of Richmond, Virginia passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, November 1, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. Her strong will and loving heart will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Gholson's graveside service will be Friday, November 12 at 1 p.m. in Hillcrest Cemetery, Newton Grove, N.C.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Traci Smith (Andrew) and Ginny Gholson, two grandchildren, Tony Hockett and Ryan Hockett, her great grandchildren, a sister, Rose Preston, and a brother, Roy Horne, Jr.. She will also be lovingly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gholson, her parents, Roy Horne, Sr. and Madge Horne, and her sister, Sarah Garcia.
