Alesa Lou (McLamb) Hockaday

Alesa McLamb Hockaday, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother, passed away on March 7, 2025. She was born on May 5, 1967, and was preceded in death by her father, William B. McLamb.

She is survived by her loving mother, Louie McLamb; her devoted children, Heather Dennis, Josh Dennis (wife Valarie), Shane Dennis (wife Natasha), and Sara Creech (husband Shane Creech); the father of her children, George Dennis; and her sisters, Teresa Williams (husband Phil) and Donna McLamb. She also leaves behind her two cherished dogs, Precious and Sadie Bug.

Alesa's greatest joy was her family and friends, especially her grandchildren: Maddie, Antonio, JR, Benjamin, Conner, Rosita, Mallory, and Abella. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
 

A memorial service to honor Alesa’s life will be held for family and friends on March 23, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Unity Advent Christian Church in Four Oaks.
