Shelton Ray Johnson

Mr. Shelton Ray Johnson, 85 of Benson passed away Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Wake Med Hospital Raleigh, N.C. His funeral service will be held Sunday, October 20, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Banner Chapel A. C. Church, Benson. Officiating the service will be Rev. Joe Brown. Interment will follow in the Banner Chapel Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the service.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife; Jeanette Johnson of Benson, daughter in-law; Trudy Parker Johnson of Benson' grandsons; Parker Johnson and wife Emily of Benson, Lane Johnson and wife Kris of Benson, great grandchildren; Emmett Lamm Johnson and Kennedy Rae Johnson.

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents; Berchel and Melie Johnson, daughter; Becky J. Butler, son; Ken Johnson, sister; Christine Johnson

Mr. Johnson was a Life Long member of Banner Chapel Church and former Trustee and Choir Member.
