Roy Lee Stanley

Roy Lee Stanley, 49, of Four Oaks passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield surrounded by his family. Mr. Stanley's funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at 2:00 pm. The service will be held in the West & Dunn Funeral Home Chapel in Benson.  The Rev. John Jernigan will be officiating. Mr. Stanley will be laid to rest in Olivers Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Four Oaks. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 13, 2019, from 1 to 2 pm.

Mr. Stanley's survivors include his sister, Janet Carr of Four Oaks; nephews, Scotty Nowell and wife Jessica and Billy Carr and wife Heather; great nephews, Cody Nowell and Colt Carr; and a great niece, Savannah Nowell; and last but not least his companion dog, Possum.

Mr. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, Hallie B. Stanley and Betty Capps.
