Roy Penny Obituary

Mr. Roy Chester Penny, 90 of Benson passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 surrounded by his family. Mr. Penny's graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 9, at 3:00 PM at Harnett Devotional Gardens in Dunn.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Benson on Saturday, March 9, from 1 to 2:30 pm.

Mr. Penny's survivors include his daughter, Darlene Penny of Benson; sons, Robert L. Johnson Sr. and Marty of Benson; Jeffrey and Edith Penny of Benson; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, sisters, Elsie Smith of Burlington; Carolyn Lee of Graham; brothers, Jimmy Penny of Liberty; Vann Penny of Prospect Hill; Odell Penny of Benson.

Mr. Penny is preceded in death by wife; Dean Lee Penny, parents; George and Hettie Penny, brother; Lee Penny
