Jessie "Larry" Edwards

Mr. Jessie "Larry" Edwards, 87, passed away Friday, October 12, 2018 at Rolling Ridge Assisted Living in Newton Grove. His funeral service will be held Monday, October 15th at 11:00 a.m. at Roanoke PFWB Church, 1197 Roanoke Road, Newton Grove with the Rev. Jerome Edwards, the Rev. Virgil Murphy and the Rev. Matt Spence officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Newton Grove. 

Survivors include daughters, Donna Tyler and husband Donald of Clinton and Amy Murphy and husband Jerry of Newton Grove; son, Jerome Edwards and wife Renee of Newton Grove; grandchildren Anthony, Lea Ann, Brennon, Jesse and Justin; great-grandchildren, Emily, Raegan, Anna, Nathan and Molly; sisters, Shelby Jean Johnson, Cherry Earlene Vann, Nannie Westbrook and Bonnie Giddens; and brothers, M.B. Edwards and Layton Edwards. 

He was preceded in death by parents, Jonah Braston & Lula Cobb Edwards; wife, Connie Edwards; grandson, Adam Murphy; and brother, Russell Edwards. 

Visitation will take place from 6 till 8 p.m. Sunday, October 14, at West & Dunn Funeral Home, Newton Grove.
