James "Jim" Edmond McCall

James “Jim” Edmond McCall, 66 of Four Oaks passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.  Mr. McCall will have a funeral service on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at the Newton Grove Baptist Church in Newton Grove.  The Rev. Jim Baldwin will be officiating the service.  The family will receive friends immediately following the funeral service.  Mr. McCall will be taken to Williamsburg, Pa where he will have a funeral service at a later date.

Mr. McCall served 22 years in the US Air Force. During his time in service, he served in Thailand and Korea. In 1992, Mr. McCall retired from active duty from Seymour Air Force Base.

His survivors include his children; Ruth Anna Evans & husband Paul J. of Lawrenceville, GA, Matthew James McCall & wife Jennifer of Indianapolis, IN, Joshua David McCall & wife Dawn of Augusta, GA and Carrie Elizabeth Sutton & husband Lance of Four Oaks, NC; his grandchildren, Alexis, Matthew Thomas, Hannah, Olivia, Titus, Layla, & Naomi; the mother of his children, Karen Jean McCall; his brothers and sisters, Don McCall & wife Bonnie, Dan McCall & wife Kathi, Linda Walker & husband Kerry, Sue Herrick & husband Gary, John McCall and    Dave McCall & wife Lori; step-children, Dennis Carter and Lewis Carter; the mother of step children, Jeanette McCall.
