Hettie Rose (Lee) Hayes

Hettie L. Hayes 87, of Eldridge Road, Newton Grove, passed away Monday, August 26, 2019 at Smithfield Manor Nursing Home, Smithfield. Her funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 28th in the Chapel of West & Dunn Funeral Home, Newton Grove beginning at 2 p.m. The family will receive family and friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 27th from 6 till 8 p.m. The Rev. Horace Johnson will officiate the service. She will be laid to rest in the Boss Hayes Family Cemetery, Newton Grove. 

She leaves to cherish her memories her daughters; Joyce H. West and husband Willie of Newton Grove, Alice Langston and husband Gary Jr., of Newton Grove, grandchildren; Joey West and wife Shannon, Kenny West, Craig, Alexis, James Jr., Barbara, Jennifer and Wendy. Great grandchildren; nine, great great grandchildren; ten, sister; Ila Ruth Massey of Four Oaks. 

She was preceded in death by parents; Seth and Pearl Lee, husband; Burchel Hayes and son; James Edward Hayes.
