Harvey Edward Hayes

Mr. Harvey Edward Hayes, 88, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018 in Sampson Regional Medical Center, Clinton. Mr. Hayes funeral service will be held Saturday, October 13th at 2 p.m. at Hopewell United Methodist Church in Newton Grove. Officiating will be the Rev. Adam Brinkley and Rev. C. H. Lee. He will be laid to rest in Hillcrest Cemetery, Newton Grove. The family will receive family and friends at West & Dunn Funeral Home, Newton Grove on Friday, October 12th from 6 till 8 p.m.

Surviving Mr. Hayes are his wife; Leigh of the home, daughter; Sue Lekens and husband Link of Manteo, sons; Barry Hayes of Bentonville, David "Timmy" Hayes of Archer Lodge, Wayne Herring and wife Peggy of Raleigh. Also left to cherish his memory are 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Mr. Hayes was preceded in death by his parents; Albert & Hattie Hayes, wife; Martha Hayes, son; Monte Hayes and 16 brothers and sisters.
