Glenda (Byrd) Blackmon

Ms. Glenda Blackmon, 78 of Wilmington passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 29, 2019 at 11:00 am at Lees Chapel A. C. Church, Four Oaks. Officiating the service will be Rev. Sam Worley and Rev. Adrian Shepard. Interment will follow in the Lees Chapel Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 28, 2019, at West & Dunn Funeral Home of Benson from 6 to 8 pm.

Ms. Blackmon's survivors include a daughter, Tracey Holloman of Wilmington; sons, Wayne Blackmon and wife Kimberly of Wilmington; Stacy Blackmon and wife Audrey of Wilmington; grandchildren, Jessica, Justin, Brandon, Aaron, Kevin, brother, Willard and Jeanette Byrd of Smithfield; 

Ms. Blackmon is preceded in death by husband, Melvin Blackmon, parents, Melvin and Pauline Byrd, brother, James Byrd of Smithfield.
