Floyd "Lendwood" Turnage

Oak Island ....Floyd Lendwood Turnage, age 73, formerly of Benson, died Wednesday, April 18, 2018.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 20, at West and Dunn Funeral Home in Benson from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M.  and other times at 2203 North Wall Street, Benson, NC.  

 Mr. Turnage was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the Vietnam War.

 He is survived by his wife, Sharon Manning Turnage of the home; sons, Anthony Turnage and wife, Ingrid of Benson, Scott Turnage and wife, Amy of Benson, and Steven Turnage and wife, Valerie of Four Oaks; grandsons, Alex Turnage and wife, Jackie, Brandon, Austin, Bland, and Colby Turnage; sisters, Glenda Jackson and husband, Tom of Benson, Patricia Stanley and husband, Leo of Four Oaks and Carolyn Allen of Four Oaks; brothers, Lloyd Turnage of Dunn and Danny Turnage and wife, Claudia of Farmville.
