Earl Jackson Wooten

Mr. Earl Jackson Wooten, 90, of Dunn passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the SECU Hospice House, Smithfield. His funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 14th at 11:00 a.m. at Shady Grove OFWB Church, Dunn. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service from 10 till 11 a.m. Officiating the service will be Rev. Chris Hall. Mr. Wooten will be laid to rest in the church cemetery. 

Survivors include his sons; Craig Wooten of Dunn, Curtis Wooten and wife Rebecca of Dunn, daughter; Nancy W. Core of Dunn. Grandchildren; Hillary Wooten, Alex Wooten, Jackson Wooten, John Michael Wooten, Megan Wooten, Allison Core and Casey Core. His sister; Merilyn W. Matthews of Dunn. Also, left to cherish his memories are several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Jane B. Wooten and parents; Ammie and Cora Jackson Wooten.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Shady Grove OFWB Church 7605 Newton Grove Hwy., Dunn, N.C. 28334 in his memory.
