Donald West Blackman

Mr. Donald West Blackman, 78, passed away at his residence Friday, March, 16, 2018. His funeral service will be held Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Maple Grove United Methodist Church at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Allison Lancaster officiating. Visitation will be held from 2 till 3 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Mr. Blackman will be laid to rest in the Blackman Family Cemetery. 

Mr. Blackman is survived by his daughter, Michelle Elease Odom of Clinton, son Steven Haid Blackman and wife Cheryl of Newton Grove. Grandchildren Jackson Weeks, Colby Weeks and Haiden Blackman. Sister Janice B. Keen and husband Sherrol of Newton Grove, brothers Douglas Blackman and wife Doris of Newton Grove, Charlie Blackman and wife Nancy of Dunn. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton Bernard and Almeta West Blackman, brothers Robert Blackman and Sandy Blackman, and sisters, Julia Thornton, Sarah Raynor and Pearlie Dunn.
