Barbara Faye (Baker) Matthews

Barbara B. Matthews, 62, of Erwin passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019, at her home surrounded by her family.  Mrs. Matthew's memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at 4:00 pm.  The service will be held at Pleasant Hill Advent Christian Church with the Rev. Gary Buffkin and Rev. Allen Gupton officiating.   The family will receive friends after the memorial service on Tuesday, July 16, 2019.

Mrs. Matthew's survivors include her husband, Allen Matthews; her daughter, Heather Adams and husband Jason of Powhatan, Va.; son, Jonathan Haywood of Erwin; grandchildren, Brooklyn, Ethan and Ian; step-daughters, Bridget Pollard and husband Keith of Erwin and Casey Townsend and husband Brandon of Dunn; sister, Sandra Napier and husband Jim of Fayetteville; her brothers, Eugene Baker of Fayetteville and Tommy Baker and wife Carolyn of Fayetteville.

Mrs. Matthews was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Ruth Baker.

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Pleasant Hill Advent Christian Church.
