Amelia C. (Grady) Godwin

Mrs. Amelia G. Godwin 78, of the Meadow Community passed away Saturday, September 21, 2019.  Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Unity Presbyterian Church, Newton Grove at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Cathy Mooney and Rev. Dock Hobbs will officiate the service. She will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery, LaGrange, N.C. with a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. The family will receive family and friends at West & Dunn Funeral Home, Newton Grove on Tuesday, September 24th from 6 till 8 p.m. and other times at the home. 

Left to cherish her memories are her husband; David L. Godwin of the home, daughters; Lesley Pender and husband Jonathan of Clayton, Laura Hall and husband Jamie of Willow Springs. grandchildren; Landon and Carsyn Hall and Hampton and Asa Pender, sisters; Annelle Viar of Richmond, Va. and Mary Gregory Stroupe of Fla. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; Lionel O. and Bessie H. Grady and sister; Cecelia Dailey.
