Lisa C. (Johnson) Patrick

Lisa Johnson Patrick, of Huntersville, NC (formerly of Erwin), passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 20, 2024 after an illness in Novant Hospital.  She was born February 22, 1962 in Wilson county, NC. to Thomas M. Johnson and Nancy Lu Herring Johnson. Lisa graduated from Erwin High School and East Coast Bible College with a bachelor's degree in music and minor in voice.

Lisa was preceded in death by her parents Thomas M. and Nancy Lu Herring Johnson of Erwin and grandparents Groves Leon Herring and Frances Willard Moore Herring of Wilson, NC, and George Robert Johnson and Rhoda Matthews Johnson of Erwin NC.  Also Aunt Dr. Frances H. Gay of St. Petersburg, FL.

Ms. Patrick is survived by her daughter Jessica Patrick of Huntersville, NC; sons, Jason Patrick of Concord, NC, and Jacob Patrick of Kannapolis, NC; also grandson, Jaron Patrick of Huntersville, NC;  brother, Mark H. Johnson & wife, Sharon of Land O Lakes, FL; her stepmother, Judy Trump Johnson of Erwin, NC and nephews Ryan Johnson & family,  Austin Johnson & family all of Gastonia, NC; her sister-in-law Sandra Ramkissoon of Gastonia, NC and several cousins.

She was an amazing mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend. She began playing piano at a very young age and quickly became known for her exceptional talent and devotion to her gift. 

Throughout her life, Lisa used her gift to inspire and uplift others. Her music touched the hearts of many, and brought joy to those who listened. Her passion for music was evident in every note she played or sang. Beyond her musical talents, Lisa was known for her unconditional love for her family, her kindness, humility, and unwavering faith.  Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, shaping her interactions and influencing her music.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. 

A celebration of Lisa’s life will be held at the West & Dunn Funeral Home in Erwin, NC on Saturday, February the 24th, 2024. Visitation will be at 2:00 pm.  Celebration funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm at the West and Dunn Erwin Chapel and burial will immediately follow the service at Erwin Memorial Park cemetery.  Reverend Jerome Pope officiating.
