William Stanley Honrine

William Stanley Honrine, 65, of Clinton passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at his farm.

A funeral service will be held at Carr Memorial Christian Church on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Officiating the service will be Rev. Penny Zimmerman.  Interment will follow in the Eliza Honrine Memorial Cemetery.  A visitation will be held at West & Dunn Funeral Home in Newton Grove on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Mr. Honrine was a fifth generation vegetable farmer who tended the land like his forefathers. He enjoyed salt water and pond fishing. He loved hunting for deer and observing nature. Stanley was a man who was known for helping out those in need.

Mr Honrine is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary Ruth Honrine, his daughter, Tonya Honrine, his mother, Ann Honrine of Clinton, brother, Oscar Thomas Honrine, Jr., numerous nieces and nephews, and special friends, Robin Best, Carl Malcolm, Cornell Brown, & Albert Bryan.

Mr. Honrine is preceded in death by his father, Oscar Thomas Honrine and his brother, Richard Dwight Honrine.
