Joyce Capps Jernigan

Ms. Joyce Capps Jernigan, 74 of Benson, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017. Ms. Jernigan's funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017 beginning at 1:00 pm at Fair Haven Church of God. Officiating the service will be Pastor Timothy Dean, Rev. David Brooks and Pastor David Linton. Ms. Jernigan will be buried at Harnett Devotional Gardens of Dunn immediately following her funeral service.

Family will receive friends at the West and Dunn Funeral Home of Benson on Friday, August 5, 2017 from 7pm to 9 pm. 

Ms. Jernigan is survived by her daughters, Elaine Dungan of Benson, Lisa Massengill and Wayne of Four Oaks, sons, Otis Ray Jernigan and Debra of Von Ormy, Tx., Roy Glenn Jernigan and Shelia of Benson and Otis Carroll Jernigan and Vera of Dunn, twelve grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, sisters, Patricia Beasley of Benson and Cola Eason of Wade, special companion, Buttercup.

Ms. Jernigan is preceded in death by her husband, Otis Jernigan and 2 grandsons, Eligah Jernigan and Shawn Michael Jernigan.
